LITTLE COMPROMISES, BIG CONSEQUENCES

Backsliden is gradual and not automatic. Do you know nobody falls suddenly, It starts small, A little lie, A little pride, A little shortcut, A small thing, But small things grow.

“A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.” Galatians 5:9

Good thing done daily compounds into success and a wrong thing done daily compounds into failure.

One compromise may look harmless…until it becomes a habit. Success makes it easier to excuse wrong: You hear people say….“It’s just business,” “Everybody is doing it,” “God understands.”

 Some people won’t lie in church…but will lie confidently on invoice.  Some speak in tongue in church, but lie in tongue in their native language .

Small compromise…. Big confidence. 

The danger is not the mistake, The danger is normalizing it, What you tolerate today,

controls you tomorrow. Stay sharp, Stay clean, Stay rooted.

You can be rich and still be rooted in God! 

 Reflection

– What “small” compromise have I been excusing?

– Am I still sensitive to right and wrong?

 Prayer

– Lord, keep my heart sensitive.

– Help me to reject even small compromises.

– Let me stay true, no matter the pressure.
