ATTRACTION IS NOT YET SIN

Temptation itself is not sin. *It’s simply an invitation…*

Being attracted, tempted, or enticed does not automatically make a person guilty. You know, even Jesus was tempted, yet He remained without sin. *The real danger begins when temptation is entertained, nourished, and allowed to settle comfortably in the heart.*

Listen to James….
_’when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin…’_

Note this, A bird may fly over your head, but you do not have to allow it build a nest there.

Wrong thoughts may come. Wrong desires may appear. The issue is not always the first thought; the issue is what you decide to do with it.

*Sin grows through your permission.*

What is repeatedly entertained eventually becomes embraced. *That is why spiritual discipline matters.* Some doors should not be reopened. Some conversations should not continue. Some environments quietly weaken resistance.

_Temptation knocks at everyone’s door, but wisdom decides whether the door stays closed._

Some people say:
“I’m just scrolling…”
Meanwhile temptation has already sent:
“Seen ✔✔”
Be careful what you entertain privately.
.
*Not every thought deserves attention. Not every feeling deserves action. Not every desire deserves agreement.*

Reflection
What temptations do I keep entertaining instead of resisting?

Are there environments or habits weakening my spiritual discipline?

Prayer
Father, help me to guard my heart and mind. Give me wisdom to reject every temptation before it grows into sin. Strengthen my discipline and help me walk in purity, wisdom, and self-control. In Jesus’ name,

Amen.
