THE END OF SIN IS ALWAYS DESTRUCTION

Achieving a good goal never excuses using bad methods to get there. True success requires both a clean purpose and an honest path.
Every sin promises *pleasure* .
But it never advertises the *bill* .
Sin will show you the *excitement* , but hide the *consequences* . It will show the *shortcut* , but hide the *destination* “…and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” James 1:15 (KJV)_
James says that when sin is fully grown, it produces death.
Not always physical death.

Sometimes:

the death of peace, the death of trust, the death of character, the death of relationships, the death of spiritual sensitivity.

” _There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” — Proverbs 14:12.

The enemy always advertises the beginning, *God always warns about the end.*

For instance, Nobody sees a mousetrap and says:

*”I wish I could be the mouse.”

Yet many people admire the bait without noticing the trap.

*Wisdom looks beyond the moment.*

Ask not only: “What will I gain?”

Ask also: “Where will this lead?”

*Because every choice is a seed.* And every seed eventually produces a harvest.

Reflection
– Am I focusing more on immediate pleasure than long-term consequences?

– Where is my current path leading?

Prayer
– Father, give me wisdom to see beyond temporary pleasure. Help me to recognize the true end of every sinful path and strengthen me to choose righteousness. Let my life produce peace, purpose, and eternal fruit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
