SMALL DOORS INVITE BIG PROBLEMS

Life is made of little choices. Most people don’t lose their hearts overnight. It starts with small doors left open.

For instance…

A careless conversation.

An unchecked attitude.

A “harmless” habit.

A private compromise.

“Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines…”-Song of Solomon 2:15 (KJV)

The devil rarely asks for your whole life at once. He simply asks you to leave one little door unlocked.

Little foxes spoil great vineyards.

Little leaks sink great ships.

Little compromises weaken strong believers.

“Neither give place to the devil.” – Ephesians 4:27

Notice the Bible doesn’t say, “Give him a little place.”It says, don’t give him any place.

*Some people say, “It’s only one click.” Meanwhile… that one click has invited forty-seven more. Not every door deserves to be opened.

Protect your eyes.

Protect your ears.

Protect your heart

Because what enters your heart today will control your life tomorrow.

*Remember, whatever you see, hear and expose your heart to continually will eventually control your life.*

 Reflection

– What “small door” have I left open?

– Is there any habit or compromise I need to shut down today?

Prayer

Father, help me to recognize the little things that weaken my walk with You. Give me the wisdom and courage to close every door that does not honor You. Let my heart remain pure, watchful, and fully devoted to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
