Let’s be honest: money can make people forget God very quickly.
One good business season, one promotion, one landed contract, and suddenly prayer feels optional.
But Scripture is clear: wealth is not self-made; it is God-enabled.
Some people say, “I’m a self-made millionaire.”
Interesting, who made the air you breathe while chasing the money?
Who kept your heart beating during the night?
Even Wi-Fi needs a signal… and success does too.
God does not always drop money from heaven, He gives power:
Power to think
Power to see opportunities
Power to endure
Power to connect with the right people
Remove God, and wealth becomes loud but empty, rich but restless.
Money without God can buy COMFORT, but not peace.
It can buy HOUSES, but not homes.
It can fund LIFESTYLE, but not legacy.
So don’t worship what God only intended you to manage.
Stay close to the SOURCE, not just the supply.
Reflection
Have I started trusting income more than God?
Do I still pray the same way after financial increase?
Is God my Source, or just my backup plan?
Prayer
Lord, keep my heart grounded as You bless my hands.
Let wealth never replace worship in my life.
I remember You, the true Source of all I have.
Amen.
