When SUCCESS Starts SPEAKING
I am sure you know, Success has a voice.
At first it whispers: “God helped you.”
Later it suggests: “You worked hard.”*
Eventually it declares: “You did this yourself.”
That is where pride begins.
_ “Beware… lest you say in your heart, ‘My power and the might of my hand have gotten me this wealth.’”_
_Success is *beautiful* , but it can slowly edit *God* out of the story._
Some people used to say, “If not for God…” Now they say, _“My strategy, my network, my wisdom, my education, my hardwork, my investment…” Suddenly God becomes a footnote in a story He wrote. The danger is not success. The danger is forgetting the Source.
-When you remember the Source, success stays healthy.
-When you forget the Source, pride quietly grows.
Reflection
Do I still acknowledge God as the source of my success?
Has achievement made me more humble or more self-reliant?
Prayer
Lord, keep my heart humble as You bless my life.
Let me never forget that every good thing I have comes from You.
May my success always point back to You.
